True, but the Caps have as well. Against an average goalie, Caps have 3 goals I'd say, as there have been two "gimmes" (one for Backstrom, the other for Laich).

Actually a close 1 goal game is just what the doctor ordered, especially against the Cats. . . the right effect is that it reminds the team that they can still be beaten, and beaten by a lesser opponent.

Fla looks a step quicker then us especially to loose pucks. My biggest concern is it's just unlikely that we can beat this team all 6 times we face them. Is tonight the 1 out of 6 we lose or is it the next meeting?

Yes, I agree. The Caps need to demonstrate they can win these type of games. Florida is desperate for a win and is in the middle of a huge playoff race.

Also, Vokoun has been white hot.

Just thought they played a little sloppy there in the first.

If they play well and lose then I won't be too upset.

Hope it's 9 though. :D

Florida is a pretty good team. If it weren't for injuries they'd be much higher in the standings.
