Are we freaking out yet? As posted elsewhere Tonight's Question for the Magic 8-Ball. "Will the Capitals keep their run going against the Bruins Tuesday night?" It answered: "Without a Doubt" ![]() One can get dizzy with the new emoticons |

It's Bear beating time! Bruins are struggling and could decide to tank for two top ten draft picks if it gets any worse. Let's help them out. 5-2 Caps Ovie is displeased with Crosby's goalscoring prowess and nets two goals. Knuble, Bradley and Semin with the others. Let's go Caps!!! |

"Few goalies have had problems with the Bruins (23-21-9) lately. Boston is the lowest-scoring team in the NHL and totaled eight goals in the last six games. The Bruins went 0-5-2 in their last seven and 1-8-2 in their previous 11 to fall out of playoff position in the East.." Should be a win for us, let's hope the Caps don't lay a stinker. |

I say 4-2 Caps. It's a tight game as we stay on them at 2-1 for awhile, but we pull a way in the 3rd. |

Or the Bruins put together a strong game. Remember under Hanlon when we went in to play the Ottawa Senators (who looked unbeatable) and kicked their butt. We don't need to play a stinker, just a subpar game and the Bruins click for a change. |

streak ends tomorrow IMO. we are seeing the signs of not playing as well as they were at the beginning of the streak which usually means it is about to come to an end and Boston is desperate for points. |

Boston is 24th in the League and imo, not desperate for points but about to be sellers at the deadline. I think by the comments some players and Gabby mentioned after Sunday's game, they recognize the drop off in play and will pick it back up. I see it ending Thursday more than I do Tuesday, just so they can claim the record to themselves.

Would love to see them set the new record, they deserve it with their new found maturity and business like effort on the ice. although, it's never bad to beat the rangers no matter how garbage they are. seriously though, we are definitely due to lose at least one this week and I'm hoping it doesn't come on sunday. TSN and the rest of the canadian media fan boys swept the first meeting under the rug, but you know we'll see the features on the golden one on Mon, Tues, AND Wed if pittsburgh wins on sunday |

I was thinking that the same thing. However, I think most Caps fans though they would lose one of the Philthy, Detroit, Crapsburgh or Phoenix games and we won them all. These are all winnable games. Boston, Rags, Atlanta, Crapsburgh If we did have to lose though, I would hope it would be to Atlanta. They deserve a break and it would punish the Rags and Bruins even more after beating them. |

Why does it bother me so much that Crosby has more goals than Ovie? I seriously need an intervention to stop my obsession with the little twerp. I don't care if it takes 5 more ENG's by Ovie to take that title, as long as the basement dweller doesn't get it I will be happy. Also last night right after Crosby's 3rd goal, all I could think of was "all those hats kept coming in waves, I just wanted them to maybe say something and ask the crowd to stop". Then I turned off my tv in disgust and went to bed. p.s. what is this emoticon all about anyway? Gay vikings?
