I was really hoping the Feds would trek down to Alabama to talk to me about it, ala the Pens douche... 'cause I would've sued their asses for disturbing me after giving them a rather simple English lesson as to why mine was not a threat, and his clearly was. I'd have alot more moneys than the none I have now.

Damn, I hope I can wake up for this one (11am as I'm CT)... just started consuming some wobbly pops and other questionable substances and plan on continuing such for a few hours.

I shoveled my sidewalk earlier and the front of the house just now. No one in my neighborhood has shoveled out their car, the neighborhood has not been plowed and some people haven't even shoveled the walks.
I am resigned to hoping to get to work Monday.
Sort of depressed but resigned.

Ok, let me just say that I HATE the Pens as much if not more than anyone on these boards, but to play this game is really unfair to them, not to mention a lot of fans who can not make it to the game.

While the Pens played a 2pm game yesterday, they apparently had to fly to Newark and then bus down from there. 95 still a mess at 6pm, so the team probably didn't get to the area until 1 or 2 in the morning at best. While I get that they are highly paid professional athletes, etc., etc., this seems a little excessive.

Not to mention the fans who waited all year for this game and cant go because they have no transportation or cant get out of their neighborhood. I am sure the lower bowl will be filled but their has got to be a lot of empty seats today.

NBC, big game, exposure, I get it all, but still it just doesn't seem right.

Hope we win, but for just today the Pens and their fans have a legitimate beef.

Atlanta made it to the game after their ordeal. Game started a bit late but they came back to win. of course their fans were not housebound. I give the Penguins credit and I think the Caps will be flat and the NBC clowns will talk about how heroic the Penwhines are. What say you Magic 8-Ball.

Since at least Game 7 of the Cup playoffs against the Rangers last spring, every Capitals home game (including games 1 & 2 against the penwhines in the second round) I have missed, the Capitals have won. As I am snowbound today, may the streak keep going on.

Caps can't afford another slow start, even though the Pens won't be properly rested, they're going to be pumped to rise to the challenge of ending the Caps streak on National TV, no doot aboot it. Weather that storm for the 1st 10 min.s, get the 1st goal and get rolling!
